When submitting a claim to Delta Dental, it is important to verify that the patient’s legal name is included instead of a nickname. Submitting claims with patient nicknames may cause the claim to be denied and would require resubmission.
Additionally, if you submit a paper claim, please make sure items are not stapled and that you include only the required attachments to process the claim. Including additional attachments may delay your claim processing.
