Use regular copy paper when sending hardcopy claim attachments. Gloss-style papers are more difficult to feed through scanners, which can delay the claims process.
Providers who have coordination of benefits and the primary carrier payment is written on the claim form do not need to send a copy of the primary Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
If a provider has completed a claim form with the same information on the “speed form,” there is no need to submit the “speed form.” This warrants extra handling and may delay claim payment.
