Claim submission reminders   

• Use regular copy paper when sending hardcopy claim attachments. Gloss-style papers are more difficult to feed through scanners, which can delay the claims process.
• Providers who have coordination of benefits and the primary carrier payment is written on the claim form do not need to send a copy of the primary Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
• If a provider has completed a claim form with the same information on the “speed form,” there is no need to submit the “speed form.” This warrants extra handling and may delay claim payment.
