Insurers are in the business of risk, but the risk landscape constantly changes. Around ten to fifteen years ago, there was a degree of stability globally, with less anguish about the economic, environmental and geopolitical forces at play. In the recent five to ten years there have been frequent natural catastrophes, pandemics, supply chain breakdowns, heightened inflation and interest rate rises, that are forcing industry participants to consider whether we are in a Poly/Permacrisis, and how to manage it.

Under the conference theme of re/insurers navigating geopolitical and emerging risks, AM Best analysts and other leading industry practitioners in the CEE, will share their insights on trends and challenges in the industry and how firms are navigating it. The morning half-day conference programme will include a guest presentation looking at "The changing landscape for CEE (re)insurers", an expert panel discussion focussing on a key topic facing insurers today, the latest benchmarking analysis characterising (re)insurer performance across different country risk domains and a workshop on the credit rating processes.

This conference, hosted with the support of XPRIMM, is designed to provide a forum for very senior (re)insurance decision-makers across the market to interact and benefit from first-hand current analysis and perspectives from practitioners and AM Best's teams of insurance analysts.
