■ Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Completes Conceptual Study for Ammonia/LCO2 Carrier
-- Response to Increasing Demand for Transport of Ammonia and LCO2 --
◆ Conduct a type of vessel of an “Ammonia/Liquefied CO2 Carrier” on the basis for a type of vessel with potential to become mainstream in the LCO2 carrier market.
◆ Vessel to transport ammonia on the outbound journey and LCO2 on the return voyage, aiming for commercial production based on acquired knowledge and technical issues.

■ Mitsubishi Shipbuilding to Build LNG Bunkering Vessel
-- Contract with Joint Venture Firm Operating an LNG Fuel Supply Business in the Kyushu and Setouchi Regions --
◆ Construction of an LNG bunkering vessel to supply LNG fuel to ships will support the LNG conversion of marine vessels, and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
◆ Ship to be equipped with a dual fuel engine capable of using both LNG and heavy oil, a first for an LNG bunkering vessel in Japan.
