今号では、高圧LNG FGSS受注と無人運航船実証実験成功のニュースをお伝えします。弊社では海の脱炭素化だけではなく自動運航技術の開発にも取り組んで参ります。

■MEGURI 2040～The Nippon Foundation Fully Autonomous Ship Program～ Successful Demonstration Test of World’s First Fully Autonomous Ship Navigation Systems on Coastal Ferry in Northern Kyushu
-- Successful fully autonomous navigation of large, high-speed ferry expected to improve safety –
◇This test demonstrated the world’s first fully autonomous navigation system, on a 222-meter ferry, with autonomous berthing and unberthing using turning and reversing movements and high-speed navigation of up to 26 knots.
◇Joint project of Nippon Foundation, Shin Nihonkai Ferry, and Mitsubishi Shipbuilding
The test was also successful with the cooperation of Osaka Prefecture University, Osaka University, Brains Corporation, Aidea Inc., Pioneer Smart Sensing Innovations Corporation, MHI Marine Engineering, Ltd. and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.
