Do Not Erase Israel From the Bible!
For the past forty years, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem has been standing with the restored nation of Israel against those who want to wipe her off the map. Now, a new peril has arisen from those who seek to erase Israel from the Bible as well.
A new Bible translation, recently published by the Danish Bible Society, removes or replaces the name “Israel” from hundreds of passages in both the Old and New Testaments. This is an unacceptable affront to both Israel and the unchanging Word of God!
Please join with Bible-believing Christians worldwide who stand with Israel and uphold the integrity of the Holy Scriptures. Let your voice be heard at the Danish Bible Society.

PETITION TO THE DANISH BIBLE SOCIETY
We are Christians from around the world who commend the United Bible Societies for their noble mission to make the Word of God available to all peoples. But we also must express our deep disapproval of the Bibel2020 edition recently published by the Danish Bible Society, which omits or replaces hundreds of references to “Israel” in both the Old and New Testaments.
The Word of God is unchanging and we must safeguard its integrity and eternal truths, including the central, enduring role the Bible gives to Israel in God’s redemptive plan for the world. We urge you to demonstrate respect for the Holy Scriptures by withdrawing this seriously flawed Bible translation from circulation.
