Lifeskills and Strategies for Adults with ADHD

The Chesapeake Center for ADHD has developed an 8-session program designed to help adults with ADHD improve their executive functioning skills. Sessions will be 75-minutes, merging a psychoeducational component with group processing to help tailor the group to meet your specific needs and goals. The topics will address: 

  • Self-control and impulse regulation
  • Initiation of tasks/planning/motivation
  • Persistence
  • working and prospective memory
  • Time Management, Planning, and Prioritization
  • Organization
  • Sleep and Exercise 
  • Management of Emotions

This program is for adults with ADHD (out of college). Participants will walk away with a greater understanding of ADHD and practical solutions to implement in their everyday lives!

Logistics:

This 8-session program will meet on Wednesdays from 1:30 PM - 2:45 PM starting Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Facilitator:

 

Kathleen Nadeau, PhD, founder of The Chesapeake Center, is an internationally recognized authority on ADHD. She is a frequent lecturer both in the United States and abroad and provides professional training seminars on topics related to ADHD. She teaches healthy daily habits and strategies to create an ADHD-friendly lifestyle.

Payment:

Sessions are $125/session, coded as group therapy (90853) if you are submitting to your insurance for potential reimbursement options. We will process payment after each session and send an electronic invoice with everything you need to submit to your insurance.
