The Centre for Advanced Protein Studies (CAPS) is a state-of-the-art advanced national facility at Syngene’s campus, Bangalore. It has been set up in collaboration with the Department of Bio Technology (DBT), India and BIRAC. It comprises a GLP-accredited analytical laboratory which provides certified facilities at affordable costs to Biotech Start-ups, SME/MMEs and Academia.
This Advanced Analytics training initiative is part of the national Biopharma mission program to advance product development in India. The session provides a basic overview of the capabilities and high-end analytical technologies at the CAPS facility. It also provides an insight into the facility’s operations which is much needed for analytical scientists in the biopharmaceutical space.
The content of the webinar has been designed to accommodate a diverse audience including entry-level to senior analytical scientists. The training sessions would serve as a starting point for start-up companies, SME/MMEs, research scholars and academia, to understand the workflow of Capillary Electrophoresis and Surface Plasmon Resonance technology and its applications, primarily in biosimilar assessment studies.
