Homeowner Managing Energy Savings Rebate Act
The Home Owner Managing Energy Savings (HOMES) provides rebates to homeowners to improve the overall efficiency of their existing home. The more energy savings your project will achieve, the greater the rebate.
The Goal Of HOMES Rebate
- $4.3 billion allotted for State energy offices to help residents make their entire home or multifamily building more energy efficient
- Focused on upgrades that will reduce total home energy consumption, such as insulation, air sealing, windows, and HVAC
- Qualifying families can receive up to $8,000 in total rebates, which are based on energy reduction and income level
- Begins January 1, 2023, and runs through September 30, 2031
