Broadband Forum BASE Event

On October 28^th, at the Encore in Las Vegas, Broadband Forum brings you the 2018 BASE Las Vegas event, co-located with Calix ConneXions.

BASE 2018 is a new style Broadband event that brings together key new technologies for service providers to deliver high value services across the whole broadband ecosystem.

This event provides attendees with a whole new perspective on what is being created for Broadband providers and users alike, delivered by the leaders in the industry, many of whom are active participants in the Forum’s work. The workshop sessions are shown below.

This event will focus on innovation in the Broadband ecosystem:

Open Broadband projects
High speed access technologies (copper, coax and fiber, components and new standards)
Cloud services including CloudCO, NFV/SDN, and network sharing
Connected Home including IoT, Wi-Fi performance and the new User Services Platform
5G – new wireless/wireline convergence, transport and network slicing

In addition to the above we are planning to add a Best Practices and application/use cases segment to the agenda. The goal is to provide attendees with a whole new perspective on what is being made available for Broadband providers and users alike, delivered by the leaders in the industry, many of whom are active participants in the Forum’s work.
