NEW  Additional Pre-sell Spa Service Availability
Pre-sell Spa Service allows guests to book spa services up to three days prior to sailing. After the pre-purchase cut-off, guests may purchase spa service onboard, dependent on availability. All prices are standard both onboard and pre-sell. Pre-sell Spa Service is currently only available on the sailings specified below. As Norwegian Viva's first sailings approach, please note that guests and travel partners will be unable to book onboard entertainment for the first 6 months of sailings. Onboard entertainment will be first come, first serve on Norwegian Viva until further notice. For more details, check out NCL Help's external "Fleetwide Entertainment" article.  

NEW  Group Recall List
There is a list of sailings, linked here, where an early group recall is necessary. Please note that speculative groups were cleaned up on Friday, July 14, 20023. The deadline for CE, UK, INTL, Affinity, Tour Operators, and Protected Partners is Friday, July 21, 2023.

NEW  Norwegian Joy Dry Dock
In January 2024, Norwegian Joy will undergo a 3-week dry dock, which will introduce a brand new Thermal Suite, an expanded vibe Beach Club, and expanded accommodation options, including a brand new Spa category. This change will be reflected in the NCL booking system and on NCL.com between July 18, and July 19, 2023, for sailings leaving February 13, 2024, and beyond. To support changes on your partners' websites, please note the following information and work with your immediate supervisor before sharing the details with only those partners who will need to make the necessary updates. 

NEW  Norwegian Sun Displacements
Please note that the information provided is not for sharing broadly, but to allow your agencies to prepare. Guests on the three sailing dates specified below will be moved over. As the sail dates, embark/debark ports, cruise length, staterooms booked, and ship are remaining the same, no compensation will be offered. Guest communications will be sent out on Friday, July 21, 2023, and reservations are scheduled to move over on July 25, 2023.

NEW  Upcoming Travel Leaders Network PPG Offer Live
From July 12, 2023, until July 26, 2023 Travel Leaders Network clients get Pre-paid gratuities when they book a balcony or above sailing that is 7 nights or longer, excluding Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva. Find more information on the offer in this flyer.    

UPDATED  CAD Discount on Select Sailings 
The Canada at Par offer has been updated to include sailings aboard Norwegian Sky, Pearl, and Joy. As a reminder this offer allows Canadian clients to book the sailings specified below with no exchange rates, meaning they can save almost 30% off of their voyage fare. NEW  Reactive Statement Regarding Norwegian Prima (Shared July 15)
 

"On Saturday, July 15, 2023, due to unexpectedly strong winds, Norwegian Prima drifted from the pier at Zeebrugge, Belgium, breaking from the mooring ropes and causing one gangway to fall into the water. Thankfully, there are no reported injuries, and all guests and crew remain safe. A damage assessment is in progress and as of now, there appears to be no impact to the vessel." - Spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line. 


NEW  Reactive Statement: Italian Labor Strike (Shared July 14)
Over the weekend, NCL sent out communications, linked here, to all guests and travel partners booked on Norwegian Epic and Breakaway's July 15, 2023, sailings, due to the potential of an Italian Air strike taking place on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Please find the approved reactive statement regarding the labor strike below. 
  

"We are closely monitoring the Italian labor strike announced to take place on July 15, 2023, and its potential nationwide impact to the travel sector. In an abundance of caution, we have notified all guests currently sailing in or scheduled to sail from Italy on or around July 15, 2023. We have also been working diligently to reschedule any impacted flights for guests who booked through NCL's Air program, including arranging additional travel accommodations as needed. We have encouraged guests who purchased flights independently and on their own to closely monitor all communications for their airline and to contact them directly for any updates. Our team remains committed to assisting guests to the best of our ability to minimize this interruption to their cruise plans as much as possible, given the unexpected circumstance. At this time, our cruise itineraries have not been affected." - Spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line. 


NEW  Reactive Statement: Certification of Insulation Panels (Shared July 10)
 

"The safety, security, and well-being of our guests and crew is always our top priority. As such, all ships in our fleet are subject to strict safety regulation and certification standards and undergo regular inspections on an ongoing basis. We are aware of a recent certification issue with insulation panels provided by a third-party supplier and installed on certain cruise ships. At this time, we do not believe any ships in our fleet are impacted, however, we are actively working with our shipyards and classification societies to conduct a thorough investigation. We are monitoring this vigilantly and if needed, will take swift action to maintain our rigorous safety and compliance standards and ensure the continued protection of our guests and crew." - Spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line.

NEW  Open For Sale: Norwegian Sun
The latest deployments officially open for sale are sailings aboard Norwegian Sun. Please find the sailing information here. As a reminder, no new speculative group space is available for sailings leaving January 1, 2024, and later. Spec groups are available to take out for all 2023 sailings. Please do not send requests to the Group Bookings Request team or try to create new Speculative Group Space in Seaweb ABE. 

UPDATED  Sailing Changes
In case you missed it, updates have been made to sailings on the ships listed below. Find the notification letters on NCL Help's internal "Itinerary Changes" page regarding the respective ship. The following are the benefits of using the MAP10OFF promo code:

  • It will allow us to manage the combinability of the offer. At the current time, the offer will continue to be combinable with all promotions. 
  • Facilitates reporting of the new program.

Future Cruise Credits
FCCs have been extended through June 30, 2023. The discount FCCs (the additional % off a future sailing) that were set to expire on December 31, 2022, will expire on that date.
