IMPORTANT  Air Policies and Resources
As we head into the busy summer travel season, in order to create the most seamless experiences for yourself and your partners, please take a moment to review the following air policies and resources.

  • Travel With Program
    • Announced on November 1, 2022, the Travel With Guarantee Program for air and sea reservations is no longer available for new and/or existing reservations that have not yet opted into the program. This means that reservations traveling together (booked in separate rooms) will not be guaranteed to travel on the same flight. Please do not add the TWITH promo code to any reservation or take payment for this program. Find details in the external "Travel With" article on NCL Help.
  • Air Service Standards Page
    • The Air Service Standards page has been reorganized into a question-and-answer format to make it more easily digestible for our guests, team members, and travel partners. 
  • Day of Travel Flight Issues
    • As a reminder, if a travel partner's guest is experiencing a light delay and/or cancelation, in which they will not be able to make it to the port on their embarkation date, please reference NCL Help's internal "Flight Assistance While Traveling En Route" article for guidance. 
 
 

NEW  Behind the Scenes Tour Pre-Booking
Effective April 12, guests can now pre-book the Behind The Scenes Tour for a guided ship tour during their sailing. Pre-booking is handled via Onboard Activities, within the Entertainment tab of Seaweb/Seaweb ABE. The Behind The Scenes Tour is currently available fleetwide, for sailings up to October 2024. The "Behind The Scenes Ship Tour" external article has been updated to reflect changes.

NEW  Introducing Best of Tromso Cruisetour
On April 13, 2023, we announced the introduction of our new Best of Tromso Cruisetour for 2023. It includes a four-day and three-night pre-cruise-only land program departing from Tromso, Norway. Learn more in NCL Help's "Best of Tromso Cruisetour" external article.

NEW  Pride Of America Dining Availability
Groups of 12 or more guests can request pre-arranged dining for main and specialty restaurants. Group dining in the main dining rooms is currently unavailable for Pride of America. Please note that group dining requests for Specialty Restaurants fleetwide should only be submitted for approval up to two weeks prior to sailing. Please reference NCL Help's "Group Dining Guidelines" internal article for more details.

NEW  District Realignment Renamed to Agency Maintenance
The District Realignment object has been renamed to Agency Maintenance in Salesforce in preparation for upcoming enhancements. Once in Agency Maintenance, the process for requesting a realignment remains the same. First, click "Agency Maintenance" and select "New" for a realignment. Then, choose between a regular (1 to 10 agencies) or bulk (11 to 200 agencies) realignment. The next steps remain the same as before. 

NEW  Group Recall List
There is a list of sailings, linked here, where an early group recall is necessary. Please note that the speculative groups will be cleaned up by the end of the day, Friday, April 21, 2023. The deadline for CE, UK, INTL, Affinity, Tour Operators, and Protected Partners is Friday, April 28, 2023.  

NEW  Norwegian Bliss SIX Communication
On April 11, 2023, letters, linked here, were provided to select guests with reservations for SIX on April 23, and April 25, 2023, aboard Norwegian Bliss' April 22, 2023 sailing. Due to a scheduling conflict, show times for SIX have been adjusted and select reservations have been canceled. Please visit NCL Help's internal “Itinerary Changes” article and click the link for the respective ship to find a copy of the letter provided. 

NEW  Norwegian Joy Entertainment Communications

On April 11, 2023, letters, linked here, were provided to select guests on Norwegian Joy's April 15, and May 1, 2023 sailings. Due to a scheduling conflict, select show times, on select dates, for Footloose and Elements are being canceled. Please visit NCL Help's internal Itinerary Changes” article and click the link for the respective ship to find a copy of the letter provided. 

NEW  Norwegian Encore Pre-Sell Spa Availability
Pre-sell Spa Service allows guests to book spa services up to 3 days prior to sailing. After the pre-purchase cut-off, guests may purchase spa service onboard, dependent on availability. All prices are standard both onboard and pre-sell. For additional details, please visit NCL Help's internal "Onboard Spa Services" article.

NEW  Cancelations: Norwegian Joy, Sky, and Breakaway
As a result of full ship charters, select sailings on Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Sky have been canceled. As a result of technical maintenance and redeployment, select sailings on Norwegian Breakaway have been canceled. All guests will receive a full monetary refund of the fares paid, automatically returned to the form of payment provided at the time of reservation. Please find the communication provided to guests and travel partners here, or visit NCL Help's internal "Itinerary Changes" article and click the link for the respective ships to find copies.

As a reminder, no new speculative group space is available for sailings leaving January 1, 2023, and later. Please do not send requests to the Group Booking Requests team or try to create new Speculative Group Space in Seaweb ABE.

In case you missed it, changes have been made to sailings on the ships listed below. Find the notification letters on NCL Help's internal "Itinerary Changes" page regarding the respective ship. You can also access this page via the Itinerary Changes button on Norwegian Central's Learn column. Important to note that Norwegian Gem, Spirit, and Jewel have multiple itinerary changes. Please note that when it comes to cancelations, commissions are protected for reservations that were paid in full, unless noted otherwise.

REMINDER  Reduced Rates for Travel Advisors
In order to advance from Masters to Ph.D. level in NCLU, and start earning 30% off cruse fare for travel partners sailings, a travel partners must book five 7+ night cruises, after the date they achieved their Masters degree. We have a record of all bookings that have been made through NCL via BookNCL.com on Norwegian Central or through our reservations center at 1-800-327-7030. If bookings are made outside of Norwegian's reservation systems, or in Sabre, Apollo, or Amadeus, a form must been submitted thorugh the "My Progress" page. Please ensure your travel partners are aware of this policy by referring them to NCLU's About page

Future Cruise Credits
FCCs have been extended through June 30, 2023. The discount FCCs (the additional % off a future sailing) that were set to expire on December 31, 2022, will expire on that date.
