    Made a difference
Even though I have a lighter camper it still made a good difference in pulling it. Not hard to set up (less than an hour) and got the setup right for my rig the first time. Good investment.

    Great, well built, product!
Well built. Great product, great price

    Great product
This hitch is much easier to hook up and unhook than our previous chain-style weight distribution hitch and we were able to ditch the separate sway bar. My wife is very happy because she can now easily do the job.

Hitch works great for our trailer
This controls the sway on the trailer and is pretty easy to put on once you do it a couple times. The bars take some muscle to put in place but that is to be expected. It works really well and serves its purpose

Beware: the necessary $70 wrench socket is NOT included with this.
I would have given this product a better rating but the initial information neglected to include that you won't be able to get a normal 1-7/8" socket into the small space where the nut and lock washer will be located when you have to torque the hitch ball down to 450 ft lbs. This short/thin walled socket can only be purchased through the manufacturer for an additional $70!? Don't buy this one if you don't need a specific hitch ball - buy the one that already has the ball installed.

Great product for the money. Easy to install
Traveled across the country, even with the sway bar my camper tried to take control a few times, I can't imagine if I did not have it. We might not have made it across! Those winds get bad across some of the vast expanses of the Midwest!

    Makes a difference!
Really makes a difference. Paired my Nissan NV3500 with a 30' travel trailer loaded down at about 8000lbs. Pulled easy for a 12 HR drive. Back end only dropped a half inch with this. READ INSTRUCTIONS when putting it on. It is very specific.

    Heavy Duty!
As heavy as I expected. Only thing that I had an issue with is the ball not being included. That was not mentioned in the ad for the product. Only after reading the operating manual did I find that it wasn't included in the model that I purchased.

    Nice hitch
Worked well, easy to install and made hauling my 36 foot RV a breeze

    Easy install
Well first off by staying this product will be updated once a road trip is done but for a short test driver after install the results are amazing. very easy install, did this at a hotel parking lot, of course had impact guns etc, but none the less very straight forward very detailed.

    The best there is.
The mechanic at the place where we bought our travel trailer said this was the best one on the market. It's superheavy duty and does a fantastic job. We have a 22 foot outback. It tows nice and steady. No swaying at all. The price here is half of the price of the same identical item at the dealer. This is a great deal!

I'm a single mom who installed it with my sister
I'm a single mom who installed it with my sister in about an hour. Watch the installation video on YouTube first. Makes install a snap. I'll be honest, I am quite mechanically inclined and know my way around tools. The point is, don't be intimidated. Take the time to read the instructions and watch the video to become familiar with the parts and assembly. Product is top quality and performs as stated.

    Instills Confidence
Night and day from towing without this system. Install was pretty easy, and tuning the hitch wasn't hard. The only time I felt like I was towing our 8,000 lb trailer was when accelerating and braking. Other than that it was rock solid.

Fastway was great when I called them
Getting the system set up was a bit of an adventure, but Fastway was great when I called them. Pulled the trailer 700 miles on it's first adventure and had no sway or bounce problems. The bars are really easy to put on and off. My only "complaint" is that the ball mount and shank are heavy - really heavy. But that's a good thing when the trailer is doing 55 mph in a straight line during 40 mph winds.

    Easy to install
Easy to install, the videos produced by Fastway made it easy and boosted my confidence. I have a 4500 LBS trailer 580 LBS of that is the tongue weight. The WDH took 220 LBS off the drive axle and added 120 LBS to the front axle and 80 LBS to the trailer axle. I could of course adjust for more or less but my truck is level and seems very happy with those numbers.

This is the more cost effective model that i have found through my research and have been extremely happy with the quality of control with the winds here
I purchased the round bar sway hitch compared to the more expensive hitches. The only difference that i would probably notice is the amount of radius i have to turn my truck to get motion from my travel trailer would be quicker without the round bar set. This is the more cost effective model that i have found through my research and have been extremely happy with the quality of control with the winds here in colorado and the bumpy roads.

    It is a must have.
Pretty easy to install just follow the instructions, have the right tools and you can't go wrong. May take a few times to get it set right but works like it should.

    GD 2970 and GMC AT4 1500
Works as advertised. Didn’t have the req tools to torque per specs so had done at the RV place. Distributes weight appropriately. Love the anti sway aspect. Works perfectly.

Perfect for towing our 24' Travel Trailer
We had a Blue Ox sway bar that worked great. Only issue is it was difficult to hook up. This one actually performs better than the Blue Ox and is much easier to hook on and take off. These are what the Camper dealership recommended and they were correct. Best one out there!!

Great hitch but be aware of the required specialty socket
This was the first weight distribution hitch, and I am very satisfied. I made a 1200 mile trip and this made the drive much smoother than just using a standard ball hitch alone. We went through icy and snowy roads, winds, etc, and it made the drive much easier. Installation was fairly simple. I am deducting one star because they neither include their special socket for installing the ball hitch nor do they make it easy to purchase it. I couldn’t purchase the kit with the pre-installed ball because my horse trailer has a 2” hitch. Finding someone that could install the ball was a huge pain and inconvenience. They could have easily designed the main hitch to not require a special socket, or included it in the kits that do not have balls pre installed. I would recommend this hitch but please be aware of this issue before purchasing.

    Very well built and packaged
Originally the angle set bolt was missing however it was speedily sent to me. With it the hitch is fantastic.

    Safety
Was easy to install, step by step instructions. I have more knowledge about the hitch by reading the instructions first. Proper hitch to tow my travel trailer

    Excellent product!-
Well designed, well made WD hitch. Virtually eliminates yawing due to the built in sway control, as well as pitching (porpoising). I have driven in 70-80 KM crosswinds with no deviation from a straight line with my tow vehicle. The setup is really quite simple. Have the ball torqued correctly by a garage if you don't have the tools and you are off to the races. I'm not saying everyone should do their own setup - but a few simple concepts should allow many to accomplish this. Sadly there are many videos on YouTube that illustrate how not to do it correctly and it is quite obvious on the roadways.

Great system at a great price
I purchased a 23' toy hauler to hookup to my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. Now, the truck towed this trailer well, with nothing than a ball and security chains, but everyone kept telling me to get a sway or WD system, just in case. I purchased this system, after doing many online searches and reading reviews. For the price, the quality and the features this system provide, it was the pick. PRO: Easy install. You may need to buy a larger wrench than most have, but they are cheap and you can do it yourself. My buddy and I knocked it out in about 20 mins one night, when we were working on another project at my house. Easy instructions and just a couple tools needed. Easy hookup and removal from towed vehicle. Large hitch will protect your bumper from unexpected objects when not towing. Well made, nothing will break. Very good sway control. In winds of 40+ from left to right, I can feel the trailer pull the truck, but never sway back and forth. Resets back in-line perfectly. CONS: Small sounds when turning after the first 500 miles used. Nothing bad, just startles you at first, when you don't expect it. Simply the sway bars working. The hitch is large and causes my rear backup sensors to see it, thinking I am an inch from something. Kinda sucks, but I could just remove it... however I like the bumper protection. :) Install of the bars can be hard, but if you use the trailer, its easy. Keep the trailer above the ball, install the bars, then lower the trailer. Bars go on easy, and the bars take the load as you lower the trailer. Reverse steps on removal. My wife does this, has no issues with hookups. No hand bar needed to install sway bars this way. VERY light work needed.

Very solid, well built. Extreme ride improvement!
I purchased the (Fastway e2 2-Point Sway Control Round Bar Hitch, 94-00-1061, 10,000 Lbs Trailer Weight Rating, 1,000 Lbs Tongue Weight Rating, Weight Distribution Kit) primarily for my camper trailer. I did have to make some slight modifications to my campers tongue plate so that I could install the sway bar brackets but it wasn't anything that a little hole saw bit couldn't handle. The installation instructions were so clear and concise that it made getting the weight distribution accurate a breeze. I read a few review where comments were made about the welding and either those few reviews were a fluke or else the manufacturer actually listened because the wels on my system were excellent, ( I do have a good bit of experience with welding for what it's worth). After installation I took my camper on a 2 1/2 hour trip and the difference in the ride was phenominal. I liked and appreciated the difference so much that I contacted the manufacture to order a second set of brackets so that I could use this system on my equipment trailer also. The manufacturer does not sell the complete bracket set seperately but they sent me a link where I could order it from a different website; Now that is customer service. Overall I would give this product a six star review if I could.

    A must have
I have been using the sway hitch for about a year. It is awesome. It makes the drive much better as far as sway goes. Whenever you use a device like this, you must understand that the trailer and the tow vehicle become one. You feel a the bumps when the trailer hits a bump. However, the stability is a great trade off. You can still sway but if you have a towing package like we do in our F150 which will slow you down when there is a sway you should have no problems. As I am writing, I wonder how often my anti-sway feature has not gone off since I began using the Fastway. I had mine installed by a dealer as I wanted it to be right. Hooking it up to the trailer is a cinch. My wife insisted that she be able to do it in case something happened to me. Now, with a pair of work gloves, she can hook up the trailer with no problem! Note: The sway bars will, as they are supposed to, rub on the metal foot that they sit on. This will rub away the paint and they will show some rust. This is normal. Do not spray WD40 or other lubricants on it. The friction is what prevents the sway. The rust goes away after each use. Consider covering them up when not using/in storage. Also, the directions as I recall did not explain well how to release the sway bars from the hitch. This is probably because it is so easy. There are two little pieces of thin metal (one on each side) that act as release mechanisms. Simply pull out (away from the tow vehicle) and make sure that the sway bar is straight up and down and the sway bar falls out of the holder.

    The safety of the hitch!!
We put this equalizer hitch on the truck and camper yesterday, 16 July, 2023. We left this morning for a cross country trip and didn't make it an hour from home. All 5 lug bolts broke off and the tire wrecked the camper upon its exit. What your here for though is to know that the hitch worked perfectly. The trailer didn't whip once, the truck is unscathed from what could have been a terrible wreck, and the white car that was passing us didn't end up wrecked along with us. This hitch saved the lives of those in that white car and the lives of those of us in the truck. We are so thankful that we put this equalizer hitch on, and we are even more thankful that when it was put to the test it kept us all safe. Assembly and disassembly was fairly easy. I bought the one with the ball already attached.
