Every month, Mental Health Colorado convenes our Monthly Reports & Updates meeting with Coloradans across the state who are working to disentangle mental health and criminal justice. Each meeting features different speakers who share information about their respective efforts. On June 15 at 11:30AM, we’ll be hearing from Mile High Behavioral Healthcare.

• Serious Mental Illness Practice Transformation Project Survey: Mental Health Colorado is developing training and education materials to help providers better serve people with serious mental illness (SMI). We kindly request that you participate and help us distribute these surveys to ensure we capture a wide array of perspectives to enhance the care and treatment of people with SMI by June 2. • COYAC Applications are Open! The Colorado Youth Advisory Council (COYAC) is now accepting applications to be the voice of young people in the lawmaking process. The Interpreter Network by Spring Institute: Bridging the Gap in Mental Health Interpreting is a 24-hour training for medical interpreters to develop specialized skills for mental health service settings. Please note that participants must have successfully completed the Bridging the Gap 40-hour medical interpreter course or an equivalent 40-hour course.
