Through this brand new value-add item, our Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology allows a retailer to connect with their customers on a whole new level. Shoppers can have the QR codes on their bags scanned to track their charitable and environmental impact through the Fill it Forward app. This provides a unique experience that encourages consumers to continue using their reusable bags at their local grocery store. But how does the giving happen? Thanks to our friends at Fill it Forward, we’re able to bring you technology that is interactive and makes giving incredibly easy! Retailers start by choosing their reusable bag, artwork design, and branded packaging that best fits their messaging. Retailers then select the charitable partner they would like to support. From there, the giving is made possible through product sales and unlocked through customer participation. It’s that simple!
