Tony Poulakis is the Assistant Commissioner in charge of the Private Groups Risk and Strategy Branch. He is responsible for increasing the ATO’s understanding of privately owned and wealthy groups and leading the co-design of strategies that foster their willing participation in the tax and super systems. Tony has a Commerce Degree and a Masters in Taxation and has worked in the tax field for over 20 years, mostly with the ATO.
