Rural Development Program

USDA Loans are insured by the United States Department of Agriculture. The USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Housing Loan (also known as an RD Loan) is intended to serve low to middle income families who are purchasing property outside of metropolitan cities. This program is especially attractive to Borrower’s because they can finance 100% of their home’s value, may qualify with less than perfect credit – and are able to finance (or roll in) their closing costs up to the appraised value of their home. It’s easy to determine if a home is eligible for USDA financing. Simply access and check out the eligibility maps. Household income limits do apply, so Borrowers should always make sure to consult with a Loan Officer about their personal qualifications first.
