Making Tele-Health services available to three million of Abu Dhabi residents as the UAE moves towards a Digital Economy
In line with the UAE governments vision of becoming a digitally driven economy - and accelerated by the sudden emergence of the global COVID-19 pandemic - the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi (DoH) has tasked Injazat with the development of a secure tele-health app that could be accessed by Abu Dhabi’s three million residents at the touch of a button.
Despite the short turn-around time, the app was launched to the public and was utilized by healthcare providers, specialty provider, and tens of thousands of community members within weeks. While the app continues to evolve with new services and functions, early results have been very positive and has furthered the DoH’s digital strategy with immediate benefits for Abu Dhabi residents, offering a reliable and safe service for patients from the comfort of their homes.
