Empowering Educators So Students Thrive
All children deserve a quality education that allows them to thrive. However, as a K-12 teacher, principal, or administrator, you’re likely stretched thin as you’ve had to adapt to an increasingly complex education environment.Amid all the complexities and uncertainties, you want your students to have the best chance to achieve their greatest potential—and as former teachers, principals, and administrators ourselves, so do we.
Through job coaching and consulting services, we help equip you with the knowledge, tools, and best practices you need to improve your school and student outcomes. We begin by gaining an authentic understanding of your situation, curate the latest and most relevant education research and then translate that research into practice—in a customized and applied way that accounts for your unique circumstances.
Our coaching and consulting services include:
- Customized Instructional Support: Helping teachers improve their teaching methods, develop a common language, and practice proven reflection techniques to improve student outcomes
- Leadership Development: Helping principals and administrators build high-functioning individuals and teams. Our approach blends consulting support with development tools, practices, and facilitation.
- School and District Planning: Helping principals and administrators craft practical solutions to structural and system challenges. Our approach is customized and leverages content experts, practitioner experience, and research insight.
Success Stories
"As a first year principal of a new early college, I knew that I needed leadership support. Working with Dr. Laurie Baker and the staff at RTI was the best decision for me. From the first conversation, they shared how they would support me and my school's growth. They offered professional development for me and my staff that spoke specifically to our needs. I was also fortunate to get Dr. Baker as a mentor. She had walked a similar journey as an early college principal and was able to offer sound advice and expertise. RTI has provided exemplary service for me and my staff, and I look forward to more years of partnership."
-Krystal Lane Cox, Principal, Wilson Academy of Applied Technology
"RTI is an invaluable resource for school innovation. Their level of professionalism, expertise and customer service is unparalleled! They are leaders in school change and redesign."
-Jim Argent, Principal, Knightdale High School of Collaborative Design
"This year Dr. Hilliard helped me significantly improve my lessons by helping me reflect, brainstorm, and come up with strategies that I hadn't tried before. She helped me increase my use of technology in the classroom and solved several tech issues I was having. She put things in perspective and helped me find ways to streamline my work and be more efficient."
-Anne Skinner, Teacher, Duplin Early College High School
"Working with RTI has been an experience from which the students, staff, and I have truly benefited. The coaches take the time to listen and understand so they are able to provide meaningful and relevant resources and professional development along with leadership support. I am so grateful that we have the opportunity to collaborate with an innovative staff whose passion lies in the development and growth of all students."
-Melissa Glover, Principal, Davidson Early College High School
