The deal is expected to help Efacec consolidate its position in Scandinavia with operations in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

In May, a consortium of Efacec and Austrian company Rhomberg secured a tender to expand the Copenhagen Metro in Denmark.

Scheduled to be completed by 2023, the expansion is expected to see construction of the track and electrification of the lines.
