The terminal expects the Bombardier Innovia APM 300 system to help accommodate its increasing demand, which is projected to move up to 82 million passengers by 2025.

The Innovia system is a driverless technology designed to provide increased passenger capacity and additional speeds. It includes an aluminium carbody in order to meet the increasing industry standards for safety and sustainability.

Bombardier previously provided its APM systems to China’s Beijing Capital International Airport, Shanghai Metro Line 8 and Guangzhou Zhujiangxincheng.

The company is also currently delivering an Innovia APM 300 system for Hong Kong Airport.
