Last month MTR tested the first of the 93 trains to be delivered to the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan, Island and Tseung Kwan O lines in Hong Kong.

The tests were performed on the Tung Chung Line during non-traffic hours.

MTR secured the contract to deliver these new eight-car trains in 2015. The deliveries are set to continue through 2023.
