Midas Holdings’ joint venture company CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Rail Transport (NPRT) has secured three metro train car supply contracts worth a combined RMB2.68bn ($412m) in China.

The first deal is valued at RMB1.15bn ($176m) and was awarded by MTR Technology Consultation (Shenzhen) for the Shenzhen Line 4 Phase 3 Project.

Delivery of the contracted metro cars is scheduled between February next year and September 2020.

The remaining RMB1.09bn ($170m) and RMB0.44bn ($70m) contracts were jointly awarded by Hangzhou Metro Group and Hangzhou Hangfu Rail Transit and involve the supply of metro cars for the Hangzhou Metro Line 6 Phase 1 Project and the Hangzhou-Fuyang Inter-city Metro Project respectively.

NPRT plans to deliver the metro cars between September this year and August next year under the agreement.

The company holds 32.5% equity stake in NPRT, which specialises in the development, manufacture and sale of metro trains, bogies and associated equipment.
